Test Results: Testing by independent laboratories, not affiliated with the company, will ensure the impartiality and objectivity of test results. The credibility of the stated objectives for implementing testing will be further supported access to genetic counsellors who can explain test results and how this information is relevant to employees. Maintaining confidentiality allows employees to control the use of genetic information, and mitigates potential for exploitation or discrimination from employers.
